A day in the life of Yally.

Hi,

My name is Kay and I recently started working for Yally.
I would like to take you with me in a day's work at Yally and explain to you what I have done, who I have met and why this is for the benefit of our tenants.

At Yally, we would like to focus on reducing housing costs, making homes more energy efficient and being a landlord of the future.
So I set out to map our buildings a bit more with a surveyor and a real estate media specialist.

- We empower better living. -

6h30: Get up - I need some coffee! ?

06h45: Preparing the site visits.
I'm going to combine the surveyor's measurements and real estate photography with sticking all kinds of stickers and meeting our tenants.
A QR code per apartment, easy to scan with a direct link to our rental portal.
Everything can be arranged quickly and easily via our user-friendly online platform.
I will also put stickers to number the floors and the mailboxes in each building. On all gas and electricity meters. I will paste the EAN code so that the right meter can be found quickly with a tenant transfer or a technical problem.

07h35: I'm ready to go. ?

08h00: I arrive at the first building in the Nationalestraat.
My first appointment is with the Doctor, since he has patients and we don't want to disturb them, he gets priority and we will first make everything in order here.
I'll take this moment to tour the cellar.

08h10: There is no light in the cellar and I am very scared in the dark, just waiting for the surveyor. ??
I already note that this needs to be sorted out.

08h30: Receive the surveyor and provide access to the doctor's office. By the way, the doctor is super friendly and has made special sure that no patients will be present until 11h00.
The surveyor will measure all areas so that we have all the information in the future to be able to have renovation work carried out quickly.

09h00: Receiving the photographer and starting it up in a doctor's office.
He will do several things for us today.
1. Photos and Video of the apartments and of the building and common areas. ?
We can use this to locate defects that are indicated, but if a tenant leaves the property we can use this material to put the property for rent.
2. A video teaser with all the highlights of the apartments and the building. ?
3. Elevation photography: With a telescopic carbon fiber mast, the photographer can show those extras that you can't see from the ground. ?
It is a perfect tool to beautifully visualize the location of the house.
The roof and rear facade can also be mapped in this way so that renovations of the outer shell can be started at a later date.
After all, we want to make all our buildings as energy efficient as possible! ?
4. The Matterport: This one needs some coordination and we do it last, for this all apartment doors must be open and there must be no movement. No one is allowed to be present in the apartment itself and this is not feasible everywhere.
The Matterport will serve for internal use and as a work tool when we consult with our experts on making our properties more energy efficient.
It's the ultimate online viewing with our 360º cameras. This revolutionary technique provides a Google Streetview experience within the walls of a home. It is user-friendly, fast and navigating is surprisingly easy.

10h00: The surveyor is busy and the photographer is taking the photos and video footage of the apartments we access have obtained.

10h30: I enter some of the residents first to introduce myself or to secure the residents' beloved pets.< br /> We don't want Patrick's cat, a super sweet man, to escape.
I have a nice chat with him and he points out some flaws in the apartment to me. I write these down carefully so that I can work with them later.
- I'm very happy that you let me know so well in advance and that you took my cat into account - , says Patrick.
?

11h50: I knock on the door of another tenant, she had an online job interview and I was allowed to knock on the door around this hour to hear whether it has been completed.
She lets me in and gives a short tour. Her apartment is very nicely decorated and her conversation went well.
Happy everyone! ?

12h00: The surveyor is ready, my colleague Jurgen will meet him in the Volksstraat to measure this building.
Our cool photographer indicates that she is ready for the Matterport. For this, the doors must be open and there must be no movement.
Fortunately, our tenants are so friendly and cooperative to take a walk or go to the bakery. ?

13h00: I leave for the Volksstraat to relieve my colleague. This one has already put the surveyor to work and here another photographer has already completed the work.

13h15: I am going to knock on the door of some tenants who were not yet available. I also know that these have a cat. - If only I had thought of cat treats - ?

13h45: I spoke to all tenants present, noted their comments and assisted the surveyor.
I check the basement, put the necessary stickers everywhere and wait for the surveyor to measure the last two apartments.

14h30: It's a wrap! ?
I return to the office to report, adjust my schedule for the next day to my - learnings of the day- ? and I'll get to work with the tenants' comments.

5:30 PM: My working day is over. ?
