Renovations in progress:

• High-quality insulating windows: The current windows at the rear of the building have been almost completely replaced by high-quality insulating windows. These new windows will provide better thermal insulation and reduced heat losses.

• Energy-efficient roof: we are busy with the thermal insulation of the roofs of two of the three buildings. A new insulation layer is applied in accordance with contemporary standards, which minimizes heat loss. The current 3 roof domes will be renewed in one go. In addition, good airtightness is ensured, resulting in an energy-efficient roof that benefits the entire building.

• Insulated modern facades: The rear facades have now been almost completely renovated and insulated, giving the entire building a contemporary look that significantly improves visibility in the street. These renovations not only take the aesthetics to a higher level, but also contribute to the energy efficiency of the building.


Planned renovations:

• Renewed sanitary and heating installation: A better solution for the sanitary and central heating installation is being considered. This means that residents can enjoy efficient facilities, improving living comfort and increasing energy efficiency.

• Installation of solar panels: The roofs will be equipped with solar panels, which provides a sustainable and energy-efficient source of electricity.

• Optimization of the ground surface and spatial volume: At the rear of these buildings, adjacent to Patronaatstraat, the current garage and entrance hall will be replaced by a new BEN house with Yally interior, bicycle shed, large terrace and green roof. This has three advantages in terms of spatial planning: better use of the available land area, improving the streetscape and creating an additional rentable residential unit.
