Optimizations already carried out:
Maintenance of terraces: The terraces at the rear have been extensively checked and thoroughly overhauled, so that our residents can enjoy them for years to come.
Optimizations in progress:
• Renovation of the entrance hall: In the first phase, the old front door was replaced by a contemporary model that provides increased sound insulation and thermal insulation for the residents. The floor was also replaced with a stylish ceramic tile with a terrazzo look. In a second phase, the walls and lighting of the entrance hall and stairwell will be tackled to ensure that residents and their visitors have contemporary access to their home.
The following improvements are planned in the near future:
• Energy-efficient roof: The roof is thoroughly renovated to optimize thermal performance. A new insulation layer is applied in accordance with contemporary standards, which minimizes heat loss. In addition, good airtightness is ensured, resulting in an energy-efficient roof that benefits the entire building.
• Insulated facades: The facades will be insulated. These insulation works will contribute to the energy efficiency of the building.
• Renewed sanitary and heating installation: A better solution for the sanitary and central heating installation is being considered. This means that residents can enjoy efficient facilities, improving living comfort and increasing energy efficiency.
• Renewed electrical installation: A complete renewal of the electrical installation is being carried out in the 4 residential units, with each unit being equipped with its own digital electricity meter. As a result, the electrical infrastructure is modernized and adapted to contemporary standards according to the AREI.
• Installation of solar panels: The roof will be equipped with solar panels, with each apartment being assigned its own set of panels. This provides a sustainable and energy-efficient source of electricity.
After the completion of the renovations, the energy performance will be significantly improved. This not only results in lower energy costs and reduced CO2 emissions, but also in increased living comfort and an attractive contemporary living environment for the residents.
