With Yally we put the Flemish & Belgian renovation revolution in progress. We buy existing homes in and around the central cities in Belgium, make them more energy efficient and put them up for rent. As the landlord of the future, Yally is committed to contemporary comfort and the reduction of the total cost of living for the tenant. We do this through the integration of smart techniques, the printing of the energy bill and an all-in service via the online portal Mijn.Yally.be (www.yally.be).
From Yally, we therefore want theé being a sustainable landlord. Your role in a nutshell:
As a Procurement Manager you develop and implement a strategic purchasing policy for the (energetic) renovations of Yally. You screen the market, establish contacts and work out framework contracts with suppliers and partners in the construction and real estate sector. You juggle with numbers and perform result-oriented according to the predetermined budgets, forecasts and energy performance. You also follow the latest trends, you translate novelties into concrete optimizations of the products and services. You actively think about how we can further respond to market needs.
Your role in a nutshell:
You are responsible for the purchase of construction and real estate related materials and services, from A to Z. This means:
- Actively setting up and maintaining ‘Supplier Relationship Management’: hunting and evaluating trust-worthy suppliers, optimizing the ‘suppliers and partner portfolio’, You have a strong network of suppliers and installers.
- Conducting commercial negotiations with suppliers and partners, capturing the best possible deals at the right conditions that help us achieve qualitative, financial and sustainable objectives.
- Negotiating marketing support with suppliers and partners.
- Maintaining relationships with these partners in order to optimize purchasing and cooperation conditions and to carry out quality checks.
- You make pre-calculations of the capex and opex investments in our projects.
- You proactively participate in optimisations, follow market developments and look for new suppliers.
- You are fully committed to digitization (software, reporting tools, ordering systems, etc.)
- You are technically versed and able to work on a project basis while maintaining a helicopter view.

Your profile
- Master's or bachelor's degree in a technical or energy field, preferably (ir) architect, engineer or equivalent through experience.
- At least 5 years of work experience in construction, real estate or the energy sector.
- Strong organizational skills and impeccable problem solving skills
- Analytically and administratively strong and thinks along strategically
- Sound ICT and financial knowledge (including drawing up budgets and performing analyses,…) and contract management
- As a people manager you have experience in developing a network of people who go the extra mile for you.
- Communicatively strong, both written and oral to negotiate successfully
- Passion for innovations in energy and the environment
