With Yally we put the Flemish & Belgian renovation revolution in motion. We buy existing homes in and around the central cities in Belgium, make them more energy efficient and make them available for rent. As the landlord of the future, Yally places maximum emphasis on contemporary comfort and on reducing the total housing costs for the tenant. We do this through the integration of smart technologies, printing the energy bill and an all-in service via the online portal Mijn.Yally.be (www.yally.be).
From Yally we want to dé be a sustainable landlord. Along the way, we are overhauling outdated sector structures and focusing on extensive automation of all operational activities. Your role in a nutshell
As a Procurement Manager (Purchasing Manager), you develop and implement a strategic purchasing policy for Yally's (energetic) renovations. You screen the market, make contacts and draw up framework contracts with suppliers and partners in the construction and real estate sector. You juggle figures and perform in a results-oriented manner according to the proposed budgets, forecasts and energy performance. You also follow the latest trends, you translate novelties into concrete optimizations of products and services. You actively think about how we can further respond to market needs.
You are responsible for the purchase of construction and real estate related materials and services, from A to Z. This means:
- Actively setting up and maintaining ‘Supplier Relationship Management’: hunting and evaluating trust-worthy suppliers, optimizing the ‘supplier and partner portfolio’, You have a strong network of suppliers and installers.
- Conducting commercial negotiations with suppliers and partners, securing the best possible deals under correct conditions that help us achieve qualitative, financial and sustainable objectives.
- Negotiating marketing support with suppliers and partners.
- Maintaining relationships with these partners in order to optimize purchasing and cooperation conditions and to carry out quality controls.
- You make preliminary calculations of the capex and opex investments in our projects.
- You proactively contribute to optimizations, monitor market evolutions and look for new suppliers.
- You put maximum effort into digitalization (software, reporting tools, ordering systems, etc.)
- You are technically skilled and able to work on a project basis while maintaining a helicopter view.

Your profile
- Master's or bachelor's degree in a technical or energetic field, preferably (ir) architect, engineer or equivalent through experience.
- At least 5 years of work experience in construction, real estate or the energy sector.
- Strong organizational skills and flawless problem-solving skills
- Analytical and administratively strong and thinks strategically.
- Sound ICT and financial knowledge (including drawing up budgets and carrying out analyses, etc.) and contract management
- As a people manager you have experience in developing a network of people who go the extra mile for you.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to negotiate successfully
- Passion for innovations in energy and the environment
